1981 Biosphere

Original: 1981. 29″ x 18″ oil painting with marbling.
The picture illustrated a novel of surrealism and drugs. I really liked certain passages and I felt inspired to develop the image into a more personal statement suggesting the unity or brotherhood of all animals and humanity swimming through the universe. The background is a marblized effect of spray enamel floating over a water drenched underpainting. The technique was inspired by Roger Dean´s book. VIEWS.
"This face looks like someone".
